VANCOUVER, British Columbia - June 1, 2010 – Vancouver, Coast & Mountains region is an inspiring location for the creative minds at Pixar Canada, who opened a new studio in Vancouver, right in the heart of the region. The beloved Pixar characters from your favourite animated movies have already been out and about—and ‘up’. Here’s a few ‘incredible’ places you might see them exploring.
Like a true cowboy, catch Woody on horseback in Langley stopping along the way for some local cuisine on the Circle Farm Tour in the Mighty Fraser Country. To infinity and beyond, or just above the clouds, see Buzz zipping alongside glider planes at the Pemberton Soaring Centre or this summer at the Abbotsford International Air Show.
Sully and his monster friends can be spotted in Harrison Hot Springs catching up with the elusive Sasquatch. And after a long day of day of “spooking” visitors and locals alike, they just might be seen soaking their paws in the mineral pools.
What about the adventuresome Nemo? Find Nemo splashing around on the Sunshine Coast, leading kayakers to Chatterbox Falls in the Princess Louisa Inlet or to the beautiful Savary Island.
And don’t forget to discover the entire region by car like Lightening McQueen by driving the Coast, Mountain Circle Route, definitely a “must do” in the region.
